Utility Distribution Box (UDB)
HDT’s Utility Distribution Boxes (UDBs) provide safe power distribution in applications requiring feed-thru to larger areas. In each model, the three-phase power is broken into three 120 volt circuits within the box. Other model features include the ability to read the single-phase load at each receptacle and ensuring that single-phase loads are equally balanced across the three phases from the power supply.
HDT offers three UDBs:
- Deluxe Model UDB equipped with a 60 amp, 208 volt, 3-phase inlet with a 60 amp, 208 volt, 3-phase outlet. Three-phase power broken into three 120 volt circuits within the box. Three 120 volt, 20 amp GFCI duplex receptacles circuit-breaker protected at 20 amps. This UDB is used in applications that require feed-thru power to supply larger areas. A circular receptacle is provided for use with a Base-X® shelter wiring harness.
- Premium Model UDB-A equipped with a 60 amp, 208 volt, 3-phase inlet with a 60 amp, 208 volt, 3-phase outlet. Three-phase power broken into three 120 volt circuits within the box. Three 120 volt, 20 amp GFCI duplex receptacles circuit-breaker protected at 20 amps. UDB incorporates amp meters on the mains (0 to 75 amps) to allow user to ensure that single-phase loads are equally balanced across the three phases from the power supply. Used in applications requiring feed-thru power to supply larger areas. A circular receptacle is provided for use with an Base-X shelter wiring harness.
- Premium Model UDB-B equipped with a 60 amp, 208 volt, 3-phase inlet with a 60 amp, 208 volt, 3-phase outlet. Three-phase power broken into three 120 volt circuits within the box. Three 120 volt, 20 amp GFCI duplex receptacles circuit-breaker protected at 20 amps. UDB incorporates amp meters on the receptacles (0 to 25 amps) to allow the user to read the single-phase load at each receptacle. Used in applications that require feed-thru power to supply larger areas. A circular receptacle is provided for use with an Base-X shelter wiring harness.
